John Griffith "Jack" London (born John Griffith Chaney, January 12, 1876 – November 22, 1916) was an American author. He was one of the first fiction authors to obtain worldwide fame and wealth from his fiction alone. Jack London is famous for being the author of The Call of the Wild and White Fang, which were both set in the Klondike Gold Rush.
